The manufacturer specifies an aquarium range of 4000–8000 litres depending on stocking and a maximum water flow of 6000 l/h. Its compact design combines two 80-watt units with T5 UV-C quartz lamps and protective quartz sleeves.

UV-C treatment acts on water passing through the unit. It does not replace good water management, quarantine or a specific diagnosis when animals are unwell. Maximum flow is not a promise of a particular pathogen reduction; sizing and operation must suit the system and manufacturer instructions.

Technical specifications

Model: Deltec Type 802

Manufacturer power consumption: 2 × 80 W

Maximum water flow: 6000 l/h

Manufacturer aquarium range, depending on stocking: 4000–8000 litres

T5 UV-C quartz lamps and protective quartz sleeves

Installation and maintenance

Read the current instructions before installation.
