Care in the reef aquarium
- Difficulty: medium
- Light: low to medium (approx. 70–180 PAR)
- Flow: gentle to medium and indirect; the tissue should move gently but not be pushed in
- Nutrients: nitrate approx. 5–15 mg/l, phosphate approx. 0.03–0.10 mg/l
- Water parameters: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU salinity, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l
- Feeding: small amounts of frozen or coral food once or twice a week is possible, but not mandatory
