- Licht: mittel bis stark (ca. 180–350 PAR)
- Strömung: kräftig und wechselnd, aber nicht dauerhaft direkt auf das Gewebe
- Nährstoffe: Nitrat etwa 2–10 mg/l, Phosphat etwa 0,02–0,08 mg/l
- Wasserwerte: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU Salzgehalt, KH 7–8,5 °dKH, Calcium 410–450 mg/l, Magnesium 1.250–1.400 mg/l
- Fütterung: lebt überwiegend vom Licht; feines Korallenfutter höchstens etwa einmal pro Woche sparsam anbieten
Platzierung im Aquarium
mittlerer bis oberer Riffbereich; etwa 5–10 cm Abstand einplanen
