Haltung im Riffaquarium
- Schwierigkeitsgrad: mittel bis anspruchsvoll
- Licht: stark (ca. 200–350 PAR), langsam an die Beleuchtung gewöhnen
- Strömung: mittel und indirekt; der Mantel soll frei geöffnet bleiben
- Nährstoffe: Nitrat etwa 2–10 mg/l, Phosphat etwa 0,02–0,08 mg/l
- Wasserwerte: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU Salzgehalt, KH 7–8,5 °dKH, Calcium 410–450 mg/l, Magnesium 1.250–1.400 mg/l
- Fütterung: größere Tiere leben überwiegend vom Licht; stabile Nährstoffwerte sind wichtiger als direkte Fütterung
Platzierung im Aquarium
Crocea stabil im Riffgestein, Maxima auf einem festen Muschelhalter im unteren bis mittleren Riffbereich platzieren; den Byssusbereich nicht beschädigen und genügend Abstand zu stechenden Korallen lassen
