- Licht: niedrig bis mittel (ca. 60–160 PAR)
- Strömung: sanft bis mittel und abwechslungsreich
- Nährstoffe: Nitrat etwa 5–20 mg/l, Phosphat etwa 0,04–0,15 mg/l
- Wasserwerte: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU Salzgehalt, KH 7–8,5 °dKH, Calcium 410–450 mg/l, Magnesium 1.250–1.400 mg/l
- Fütterung: meist reicht die Versorgung über Licht und gelöste Nährstoffe; feines Futter kann gelegentlich sparsam angeboten werden
Platzierung im Aquarium
im unteren bis mittleren Riffbereich; stark wachsende Arten am besten auf einem separaten Stein platzieren, damit sie sich kontrollieren lassen
