- Difficulty: easy to moderate
- Light: low to moderate (approx. 60–160 PAR)
- Flow: gentle to moderate and varied
- Nutrients: nitrate approx. 5–20 mg/l, phosphate approx. 0.04–0.15 mg/l
- Water parameters: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU salinity, dKH 7–8.5, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l
- Feeding: nutrition via light and dissolved nutrients is usually sufficient; fine food can be offered sparingly on occasion
Placement in the aquarium
in the lower to middle reef zone; fast-growing species are best placed on a separate rock to keep them under control
