Care in the reef aquarium

  • Difficulty: intermediate
  • Light: low to medium (approx. 70–180 PAR)
  • Flow: gentle to medium and indirect; the polyps should move evenly without being bent forcefully
  • Nutrients: nitrate about 5–15 mg/l, phosphate about 0.03–0.10 mg/l
  • Water parameters: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU salinity, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l
  • Feeding: small amounts of frozen or coral food once or twice a week is possible, but not mandatory

Placement in the aquarium
