Care in the reef aquarium

• Difficulty: moderate
• Light: low to moderate (approx. 70–180 PAR)
• Flow: gentle to moderate and indirect; the polyps should move evenly without being bent sharply
• Nutrients: nitrate approx. 5–15 mg/l, phosphate approx. 0.03–0.10 mg/l
• Water parameters: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU salinity, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l
• Feeding: small amounts of frozen or coral food once or twice a week is possible, but not required

Placement in the aquarium

Attach in a stable position in the lower to middle reef area; plan for a distance of approximately 15–25 cm from neighbors, depending on the species, due to long sweeper tentacles
