Care in the reef aquarium

• Difficulty: moderate
• Light: low to moderate (approx. 70–180 PAR)
• Flow: gentle to moderate and indirect; the polyps should move evenly without being strongly bent
• Nutrients: nitrate approx. 5–15 mg/l, phosphate approx. 0.03–0.10 mg/l
• Water parameters: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU salinity, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l
• Feeding: small frozen or coral food once or twice a week is possible, but not mandatory

Placement in the aquarium

fix in the lower to middle reef zone in a stable spot; due to long sweeper tentacles, plan for about 15–25 cm distance to neighbors depending on the species
