Lighting, flow and care
Scolymia generally favour low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect water movement. Acclimate new specimens gradually to their position. Place them securely and protect their delicate tissue from sharp edges and neighbouring corals. Small portions of suitable coral food can be offered directly when a feeding response is visible. Stable water chemistry matters more than rapid adjustments.
