Alveopora CP Crystal Lagoon – Alveopora LPS coral with flower-like polyps.
You receive the exact specimen shown in the original photographs. Specimen 1452-R. The photographs were taken under blue aquarium lighting; colours can look different under your own lighting.
Offered as German aquaculture (DNZ). Give it a stable position and gradually acclimate it to your lighting and flow.
Light: moderate; acclimate new specimens gradually and initially avoid intense light. Flow: moderate to strong, variable and indirect; extended polyps should sway freely.
Secure in the lower to middle reef with room for polyp extension.
Largely supported by light; offer suitable fine food sparingly and monitor water quality.
Use an established reef aquarium. Contact may trigger rapid polyp retraction; investigate persistent closure and tissue loss.
As a general reef starting point: 24–26 °C, salinity 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l and magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l. Stability matters more than abruptly chasing a number. Avoid complete nutrient depletion and check trends rather than reacting to a single reading.
For a consistent testing routine, see our reef water testing guide.
