Light and flow

Light: low to moderate with gradual acclimation. Flow: gentle and indirect, without pressing tissue against edges.

Placement in your reef

On a level safe support in the lower reef, allowing room for full expansion.

Feeding and ongoing care

Occasionally offer small marine food pieces when it actively accepts food.

Choose space based on its expanded size. Support only the skeleton when moving it and do not squeeze the soft tissue.

Keep water conditions stable

As a general reef starting point: 24–26 °C, salinity 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l and magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l. Stability matters more than abruptly chasing a number. Avoid complete nutrient depletion and check trends rather than reacting to a single reading.
