Description
The Deltec 2000i is an internal protein skimmer for large marine and reef aquariums. Installed in a sump, it supports removal of skimmable organic matter. The aquarium volume rating is guidance; fish stocking and feeding also influence the appropriate size.

Installation and maintenance
Read the instructions before installation and check the footprint, water depth and extra clearance needed to remove the collection cup. Position the skimmer securely and adjust it gradually after the run-in period. Inspect and clean the collection cup, air intake and pumps regularly according to the instructions. Secure the cup drain hose against unintended draining. CS 2000, CSM 2000 is optional cleaning equipment and is not promised as included here.
Safety
Disconnect all affected electrical equipment from mains power before maintenance or work in the water. Never run pumps dry. Do not use damaged cables or equipment. Protect mains connections from water and provide a drip loop. Use equipment only as directed by the manufacturer; do not modify electrical components.
