Deltec Black Edition 7.0 protein skimmer

Description

The Deltec Black Edition 7.0 is an internal protein skimmer for large marine and reef aquariums. Deltec specifies an aquarium range of 3000–7000 litres. Consider fish stocking, feeding and system load as well as water volume when choosing a skimmer. The cylindrical reaction chamber and E-Flow pump support removal of skimmable organic matter.

Installation and maintenance

Install in a suitable sump with a stable water level. Allow space for the body, externally mounted pump and removal of the collection cup. Follow the current manufacturer instructions, observe performance during the run-in period and adjust skimming gradually. Clean the cup, air intake and accessible pump parts regularly. CS 7.0 is offered as optional cleaning equipment and is not promised as included here.

Safety

Disconnect affected electrical equipment from mains power before maintenance, cleaning or working in water. Never run pumps dry. Do not use damaged cables or equipment. Protect electrical connections from water and fix leaks before continued operation. Follow manufacturer instructions and connection requirements.
