Description
The Deltec TC 1000ix is a protein skimmer for marine and reef aquariums. Deltec specifies an aquarium range of 600–1000 litres. The externally mounted Deltec DCS 600 operates at 230 V and 12 W, with maximum air intake of 600 l/h. The cylindrical body and air-water mixing support the removal of skimmable organic material.
The manufacturer permits this TC model to be installed inside or outside a sump. An external water feed is required and must be included in the installation plan. The stated aquarium volume is guidance: fish stocking, feeding and system load influence the appropriate skimmer size.
