Description
The Deltec TC 6000ix is an external protein skimmer for marine and reef aquariums. The manufacturer specifies an aquarium range of 3000–6000 litres. Externally mounted pumps and the cylindrical reaction chamber support removal of skimmable organic matter. Consider fish stocking, feeding and system load when choosing a skimmer.
Deltec permits this TC model to operate inside or outside a sump. An external water feed is required and must be included in the installation plan.

Installation and maintenance
Read the current manufacturer instructions before installation. Allow room for the body, pipework and removal of the collection cup. Arrange the water feed and outlet to suit the installation, check connections for leaks and monitor operation during the run-in period. Adjust skimming gradually afterwards. Clean the collection cup, air intake and pump components regularly as instructed. CS 6000 is offered as optional cleaning equipment; optional accessories are not promised as part of this product.

Disconnect affected electrical equipment from mains power before cleaning, servicing or working in water. Never run pumps dry. Do not use damaged cables or equipment. Keep electrical connections dry and fix leaks before continued operation. Follow manufacturer instructions and electrical connection requirements.
