Description
The Deltec UV Type 802 is a UV-C unit for large aquarium systems. The manufacturer specifies an aquarium range of 4000–8000 litres depending on stocking and a maximum water flow of 6000 l/h. Its compact design combines two 80-watt units with T5 UV-C quartz lamps and protective quartz sleeves.
UV-C treatment acts on water passing through the unit. It does not replace good water management, quarantine or a specific diagnosis when animals are unwell. Maximum flow is not a promise of a particular pathogen reduction; sizing and operation must suit the system and manufacturer instructions.

Installation and maintenance
