Care in the reef aquarium
- Difficulty: moderate
- Light: low to moderate (approx. 60–160 PAR)
- Flow: gentle to moderate and indirect
- Nutrients: nitrate approx. 3–15 mg/l, phosphate approx. 0.03–0.10 mg/l
- Water parameters: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU salinity, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l
- Feeding: offer fine or small meaty coral food occasionally after the feeding polyps have opened
Placement in the aquarium
place in the lower to middle reef area and acclimate slowly to stronger light; keep a distance of at least 10–15 cm from neighboring corals
