Description
Carbon source for bacteria in marine aquariums. Measure nutrient levels regularly and adjust dosing gradually.
Dosage
Manufacturer recommendation: 2–5 ml per 1,000 litres daily, depending on nutrients and livestock. For older aquariums with high nutrient levels, the manufacturer recommends first reducing phosphate and starting with a dose reduced by 75%. Then increase by about 10% no more often than every two weeks while checking water parameters. Slimy deposits on glass or rocks indicate excessive dosing.
A carbon source for filter bacteria, not a substitute for regular water testing. Do not use for animals intended for food production.
Notes
Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. Rinse eyes thoroughly with water after contact and wash hands after use. Follow the current product label.
