Goniopora Candy Glow – long-polyp Goniopora LPS coral.
You receive the exact specimen shown in the original photographs. Specimen 567. The photographs were taken under blue aquarium lighting; colours can look different under your own lighting.
Offered as German aquaculture (DNZ). Give it a stable position and gradually acclimate it to your lighting and flow.
Light: low to moderate; acclimate slowly to brighter light. Flow: gentle to moderate, variable and indirect; do not force polyps against the skeleton.
Lower to middle reef with adequate room for fully extended polyps.
Occasionally offer small portions of fine coral food and observe the response.
Maintain stable, measurable nutrients. Avoid forcing an ultra-low-nutrient environment and do not overfeed.
Start with small target feedings once or twice weekly if the coral accepts food; reduce feeding if nutrients rise.
As a general reef starting point: 24–26 °C, salinity 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l and magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l. Stability matters more than abruptly chasing a number. For this mixed-reef starting range, aim roughly for nitrate 5–15 mg/l and phosphate 0.03–0.10 mg/l, without sudden corrections. Check trends rather than reacting to a single reading.
For a consistent testing routine, see our reef water testing guide.
