Jebao EXP-3500 return pump

Description

The Jebao EXP-3500 is an adjustable return pump for freshwater and marine aquariums. The EXP series has a bottom water inlet and is designed to move water at a low water level. For this model, the manufacturer specifies a maximum flow of 3500 l/h, a maximum head of 3.5 m and 35 W at 24 V DC.

Maximum flow and maximum head are not reached at the same time. Height difference, pipe diameter, bends and connected equipment reduce the actual flow. Choose the pump for the flow needed in your installation and begin with a low setting. Return flow and water movement inside the reef aquarium perform different roles.

Installation and safety

Use only the power supply suitable for the model. Secure pipework and connections, keep the inlet clear and check for leaks before continuous operation. Never run the pump dry; operate the pump only with sufficient water at the inlet. Keep the controller, power supply and electrical connections dry. Disconnect all relevant equipment before cleaning or working in the water. Clean the rotor and inlet regularly according to the manufacturer instructions. The DC voltage listed is the pump operating voltage, not mains voltage.
