Description
The Jebao MDP-5000 is an adjustable DC pump for aquarium water circulation. The manufacturer specifies a maximum flow of 5,500 l/h and maximum head of 4 m at 40 W. Control offers Wi-Fi, manual operation and direct AP mode without a router.
Maximum flow and maximum head are separate limiting values. Pipe length, vertical lift, bends and filter resistance reduce flow in the installed system. Set the pump according to the required return flow and the capacity of your overflow. Check and adjust pump output after installation.

Use and safety
Read the current manufacturer instructions before installation and check suitable hoses, pipes and connections. Keep the intake clear and check connections for leaks. Never run dry. Documented dry-run and blocked-rotor protection does not replace correct installation or maintenance. Disconnect power before cleaning or working in the water. Keep the controller, power supply and electrical connectors dry. Clean the rotor and intake regularly according to the manufacturer instructions.
