Reef aquarium care
- Difficulty: moderate
- Lighting: low to moderate (approx. 60–150 PAR)
- Flow: gentle to moderate indirect flow; avoid a strong direct jet
- Nutrients: nitrate approx. 5–15 mg/l, phosphate approx. 0.03–0.10 mg/l
- Water parameters: 24–26 °C, salinity 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1.250–1.400 mg/l
- Feeding: Offer small meaty foods once or twice a week
Placement in the aquarium
Place freely on the sand bed or in the lower reef so the soft tissue does not rub against sharp rock edges. Leave 15–20 cm from other corals.
