  • Water flow: gentle and indirect; protect inflated vesicles from pump jets
  • Feeding: occasionally offer small meaty particles when a feeding response is visible
  • Water chemistry: 24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l.

Placement and spacing

secure low in the reef with generous separation from neighbours.

Acclimation and care tips

Protect delicate vesicles and tissue from sharp edges. Allow space for night-time sweeper tentacles.

Acclimate slowly to the aquarium conditions and lighting. Maintain stable alkalinity, salinity and measurable nutrients. The water values are guideline ranges; avoid abrupt corrections and observe the animal’s response.
