Care in the reef aquarium
This small-polyp stony coral belongs to the SPS group. Keep water parameters stable and adjust lighting and flow gradually after introduction.
Lighting, flow and placement
Start with moderate light and good, varying flow on the rockwork. Avoid abrupt lighting changes and a continuous concentrated pump jet. Leave room for encrusting growth and space between neighbouring corals.
Feeding and water parameters
If supplementing feeding, use fine particles. Check alkalinity, calcium and magnesium regularly and adjust supplementation to measured consumption. Nitrate and phosphate should not remain undetectable.
