Description
Two 225 µm mesh filter bags for Red Sea MAX NANO. The bags catch coarser suspended particles before they settle in the filtration system. This is the R40580 two-pack, not a complete aquarium or the 100 µm felt filter.
Will it fit?
R40580 is intended for MAX NANO; the current MAX NANO G2 manual lists it for Cube, Peninsula and XL. Check your equipment part number before buying. A similar-looking bag may have a different retaining ring.
Everyday use
Check the bag regularly. When water passes through less freely, remove it for cleaning and clear the collected debris. Avoid leaving a clogged bag unattended in the system. Having two bags lets you swap one while cleaning the other. Service time depends on the particle load in your aquarium.
