Description
This optical refractometer measures seawater salinity. Its scale is designed for seawater with a 25 °C reference; ATC compensates for temperature effects within the intended operating range.
Use and selection
Calibrate according to the supplied instructions and check the reading with a suitable seawater reference. Place the sample on the clean prism, allow temperatures to equalise and read the salinity scale. Clean and dry the prism afterwards. ATC does not replace calibration.
