Description
The Salifert Copper test checks copper (Cu) in aquarium water. Its stated measurement range is 0.05–2.0 mg/L. It can be used to monitor copper levels, for example in a separate treatment tank.
Using and interpreting the test
If you use a copper treatment, check its instructions first: treatments can contain different copper compounds, and the test must be suitable for the formulation. An undetectable result is not a general guarantee that water is safe for corals or other invertebrates. This kit is not a sensitive trace analysis below its measurement range.
Use the enclosed instructions for your test version. Reagents are for water testing only; do not return the tested sample to the aquarium, and keep the kit out of children's reach.
