Description
The Salifert Oxygen test measures dissolved oxygen (O2) in aquarium water. The scale runs from 2 to 14 mg/L. You can use it to follow readings at different times of day or after changes to aeration and surface movement.
Using and interpreting the test
Take the sample without unnecessary shaking or pouring and begin testing immediately after collection; exposure to air can change the sample. Follow the reaction times in your instructions. A single reading describes only the sampling moment. Record the time and water temperature so later measurements can be compared meaningfully.
Use the enclosed instructions for your test version. Reagents are for water testing only; do not return the tested sample to the aquarium, and keep the kit out of children's reach.
