Description
Reference solution with known nitrate and phosphate concentrations for checking nitrate and phosphate test reagents.
Use
Check using RO or demineralised water and the amount of standard specified for the test being used. After dilution, the target is 2 mg/l nitrate or about 0.2 mg/l phosphate. Replace the kit for large deviations; otherwise a correction factor can be calculated. Recheck every 2–4 weeks. The required amount of standard depends on the test.
Composition and pack
Reference solution containing 75 mg/l nitrate and 7.5 mg/l phosphate before the prescribed dilution.
