Description
Turbinaria Cup WYSIWYG / 381 – cup-forming Turbinaria coral.

Reef aquarium care
- Difficulty: moderate.
- Lighting: moderate; begin in subdued light and acclimate gradually.
- Flow: moderate and variable; water should pass across the cup surface to prevent debris collecting there.
- Placement: secure on the reef structure where neighbouring corals will not shade the cup.
- Spacing: leave room for the expanding rim and space from other corals.
- Feeding: relies mainly on light; very fine coral food may be offered sparingly when polyps are open.
Water parameters and acclimation
Aim for approximately 24–26 °C and salinity of about 34–35 PSU. Test alkalinity, calcium and magnesium regularly and keep them stable. Acclimate new corals gradually to light and flow, keep nutrients within the range that works for your reef and avoid abrupt changes.
These are starting points, not exact targets for every specimen. Watch tissue and polyp response after introduction and adjust placement only gradually.
