Description
Zoanthus Premium WYSIWYG / 1455-R
This listing offers a Zoanthus zoanthid coral with colourful individual polyps. Choose this individual coral by its original photographs and the specimen details below. Its species-specific lighting, water movement and spacing matter as much as the trade name.
Specimen reference: 1455-R. This reference identifies the photographed listing; it is not a size measurement.
Origin stated in the listing: Aquarium-grown aquaculture
The product photographs show the specimen under blue aquarium lighting. Colour appearance can vary with your own lighting and viewing angle.
You receive the exact coral shown in the original product photographs.
Lighting and water movement
Lighting: low to moderate; acclimate gradually. Flow: gentle to moderate and indirect; avoid debris accumulation.
Placement and spacing
on a separate rock with space for the colony to spread.
Feeding and water chemistry
mainly supported by light; offer fine food sparingly only when a response is visible.
24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l. These are guideline ranges for a stable reef, not targets to reach through abrupt adjustments. Keep alkalinity and salinity steady and avoid letting nutrients remain undetectable.
Acclimation and observation
Wear gloves and eye protection when handling. Never heat, boil or aggressively work on them out of water; some zoanthids can contain toxic substances.
Prepare for arrival with our coral acclimation guide.
