Euphyllia Glabrescens Tamer Golden Torch WYSIWYG / 591
This listing offers an Euphyllia glabrescens Torch LPS coral with long tentacles. Choose this individual coral by its original photographs and the specimen details below. Its species-specific lighting, water movement and spacing matter as much as the trade name.
Specimen reference: 591. This reference identifies the photographed listing; it is not a size measurement.
The product photographs show the specimen under blue aquarium lighting. Colour appearance can vary with your own lighting and viewing angle.
You receive the exact coral shown in the original product photographs.
Lighting: low to moderate; around 80–120 PAR has worked well in our own tanks, with gradual acclimation for new specimens. Flow: gentle to moderate, variable and indirect; tentacles should sway freely without being forced against the skeleton.
secure in the lower to middle reef with generous space from neighbouring corals and other Euphyllia types.
largely supported by light; occasionally offer very small suitable food particles when feeding tentacles respond.
24–26 °C, 34–35 PSU, alkalinity 7–8.5 °dKH, calcium 410–450 mg/l, magnesium 1,250–1,400 mg/l. These are guideline ranges for a stable reef, not targets to reach through abrupt adjustments. Keep alkalinity and salinity steady and avoid letting nutrients remain undetectable.
Long sweeper tentacles can damage neighbouring corals. Secure the skeleton without gluing soft tissue. Investigate persistently retracted polyps or tissue loss promptly.
